Further Details on Benefits
Each guest has their own leisure area - open to the front - to ensure ample fresh, clean air. A corner shelf in each gives a good view of other feline neighbours and wildlife alike. For the Outdoor Cat We know that cats which are used to going out need to have access to an out door run, and we designed our cabins to allow them into their own run day or night and to allow them to sit on top and enjoy the sun and see everything around them, which stops boredom. Each accommodation is heated, a food area, and litter is situated under the cabin, as many cats hate sleeping too close to their litter tray. Two cat units and single cat units are available. For Indoor Cats With many people now living in flats and having indoor cats we can offer indoor facilities for cats which never go out, are old, or infirm or are shy or on medication. They are floor to ceiling walk in apartments in a heated building . Cats have chairs to sit on, and you may bring scratching posts or your own beds, in fact anything reasonable to make your cat at home. We have units which can take up to 4 cats. A heated bed can be supplied for old or infirm cats a, even in summer. Cat Hotel DetailsThe Cat Hotel comprises 12 guest rooms that meet with FAB requirements, all have external covered runs and provide all year luxury boarding. There are 22 double 4' x 4’ cabins with access to 6' runs, 7 - 5'-6" x 4' family cabins with access to 9' runs and 4 single penthouse cabins with 6' runs. We also have an isolation unit (just in case). Each cabin has an infrared heat lamp, thermostat and thermometer, there are also additional electricity sockets, for heating pads etc, if required. The accommodations are set in the countryside with minimal passing traffic. Nearby are gardens with plenty of trees and shrubs that attract all manner of birds and butterflies that help to divert the guests during their stay with us. Whilst in our care, all cats are insured against veterinary expenses for non-preexisting conditions. FeedingSpecial diets and requirements are catered for - prior notice is appreciated. We all know that closest to a kitty's heart is his dinner. We feed only the top of the range products, Iams, Hills, Technical, Royal Canin, dry foods and Whiskas and Felix canned food. In addition to this we also have in stock tinned tuna and salmon, sardines, and chicken to tempt even the fussiest feeder as well as the now popular "Pouches". If your cat likes milk it will be in heaven because we have our own Milk supply. If your cat is on a Vet Prescribed diet this must come with the cat and we always feed to specification. We will keep your frozen fish in our freezer and prepare daily, if your cat is a fish lover. We are always happy to discuss your cat’s needs, and welcome your visit. VaccinationsAll cats must have current vaccination certificates that will have to be produced when dropping off the cats. This is a requirement of the local authority. To be fair to fellow boarders, all holidaymakers will be expected to bring with them current certificates for Feline Enteritis and Cat Flu, prior to acceptance. Residents are insured by Petplan, during their stay, for unforeseen illness or injury. However existing illnesses are not covered. There is a Veterinary Surgeon on call 24 hours a day. Other ServicesWe are happy to cater for those cats who may require particular special attention, from administering pills or ointments to that extra little cuddle that some cats demand. Oldies are welcome. Owners are invited to bring a towel or soft foam cat bed. A collection service is operated at a small extra cost.
